Yep it was Mother’s Day
I know I’m one of the most cynical persons in the world, but I did enjoy today. I even like the cards they have now that play music and record voces. The one I got with the grandkids laughing makes me laugh every time. Now, that’s good medicine. We had pizza, salad, drinks, Koffee Kup pies and no one had to cook. Everyone left with fresh green beans from the garden and all the kids got to ride the horse, save one who doesn’t give a hoot about animals. I’m proud to say some of the bigger ones are getting pretty darn good. I’m ready to turn them loose on their own, but I’ll have to wait until they come and stay with me so their parents won’t have a heart attack. That middle child got the yard all cleaned up again which I love to look at a manicured lawn. All in all, it was a great day.
